Thank you for your interest in hosting an event benefiting First Descents. We are honored! Raising funds and awareness at events is crucial to our mission of serving young adults with cancer. Our goal is to support you and your efforts to the best of our ability and to also build a lasting partnership with you for future events. This packet of information will highlight the topics relevant to your event and will provide the materials you need to successfully incorporate First Descents as the beneficiary of your event.

The first thing that you should review is the Third Party Event Guidelines Document; this will guide you through the other resources. If you have any questions or needs that are not addressed please feel free to contact us directly.

Teva is a First Descents corporate partner, sponsor of our pilot surf program and is leading the corporate charge for Team FD with their Teva Team FD challenge, in which they hope to raise enough money in 2011 to sponsor three additional programs!

Sportsgrants Foundation is the proud sponsor of FD2 KAYAK Hood River, OR: June 15 – 21. They are hoping to raise enough money through their Project One initiative to sponsor two additional programs in 2011!

Our friends at the E.P.I.C. Foundation host the 80s Ski Party event every year. The 2010 event raised enough money to fund one program in 2011 in memory of their friend Adam Barron: FD1 Estes Park, CO: May 22- 27 . We appreciate all the E.P.I.C. Foundation has done to partner with First Descents as the charitable beneficiary of the 80s Ski Party!
