How do you start your FDX Adventure?

1. Pick your adventure (see below to view our 2013 offerings).
2. Once you send in your application and that trip has enough participants we will connect you with the outfitting partner to coordinate all further logistics.

 

Please Note: FDX trips are for 3rd time returning participants only, if you are a first time participant you get to go to an FD1 program and second time participants are eligible for FD2!

ALSO: Once you confirm your intent to participate by submitting the registration form, you will not be able to transfer to a different FDX adventure for any reason other than medical emergency.

PATAGONIA MARCH 6-14, 2013 FULL

We will be partnering with Bio Bio Expeditions to put on a week packed with multi sport adventure, in arguably some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. You will fly down to Bariloche, where Bio Bio will be there to meet you and take you to their luxury ‘tented platforms’ located right on the Futaleufu river…trust me, you won’t be roughing it! Based on the weather requirements for some of the activities we will be participating in, the specific itinerary will be set once we arrive. KAYAKING THE MAIN SALMON! JULY 7-15, 2013

After two consecutive successful Main Salmon FDX trips, we are headed there again! Sandy beaches, warm water, fun rapids, hot springs and great playspots epitomize the iconic Main Salmon river in southern Idaho. Spend seven days and six nights improving your kayaking skills as you enjoy a trip down the ‘wild and scenic’ section of the Main Salmon—Class I – III. Raft-support means you’ll relax on the beach after a day of paddling while a delicious meal is being prepared! Skill level? If you’re comfortable in a kayak and can make basic maneuvers (no ‘roll’ necessary) our 3:1 instructor ratio will help you take your skills to the next level. For more information click here.

SURFING IN BALI, INDONESIA OCTOBER 12-22, 2013 FULL

Just saying the name “Bali” evokes the legendary mysticism of an ancient culture that dates to 2000 BC. Bali is at once, a place nicknamed “Island of Peace”, “Island of the Gods” and “Island of Love”. First Descents will be partnering with Farmdog Surf School for an epic surfing adventure. Bali offers an incredibly diverse surfing experience for surfers of all levels.
