WHAT:

TeamFD is an innovative peer-to-peer fundraising platform that embodies our culture by embracing challenge. TeamFD participants raise money for First Descents so that more young adult affected by cancer can attend our programs.  All funds raised through Team FD will directly impact the lives of a young adult cancer fighters and survivors – but even better, embracing a challenge will change your life.

WHY:

TeamFD is the heartbeat that keeps the energy and spirit of FD alive. At First Descents, we see challenge as a source of empowerment and inspiration. For this reason, we choose challenge! Whether it’s learning how to cook something new or participating in your first triathlon, the thrill of adventuring into the unknown is vital to our well-being and growth. Through Team FD you can challenge yourself for a cause.

WHO:

Team FD is for EVERYONE. The only thing you need to join is a spirit of adventure, creativity, and passion.

HOW:

START a Team!

 Register as an Individual: If you are taking on your fundraising challenge, you can Register as an Individual. You will be able to create a personal fundraising page where you can tell your story and have others support you by making a donation to your page!

 Start a Team: If your challenge involves recruiting others to join you in your fundraising efforts, starting a TEAM is the option for you! When you create a team you can invite others to participate and fundraise with you.
