Dr. Alex Robb is a compassionate veterinarian, loving husband and father, and Medical Director at Goodheart Animal Health Centers. He is a fierce advocate for healthcare that goes beyond simply diagnosing and treating diseases, but also cares for patients holistically. He is excited to serve on the Board of Directors at First Descents with that aim in mind.

He was first introduced to the organization via close family friends who benefitted from First Descents’ programming in an extraordinary way. Alex was moved by the power of adventure-based healing, and the remarkable impact that First Descents has on its participants and their loved ones. This inspires his ongoing support of the organization.

Alex graduated from Brown University before attending Tufts University for his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, and he completed a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Denver. He currently serves on Tufts University’s Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine Board of Advisors, and also serves on the Board of Directors at Freedom Service Dogs of America. In addition to his professional and philanthropic endeavors, Alex enjoys ice hockey, travel, live music, photography, and spending time with his wife and children, and his German shorthaired pointer, Porter.
