Bailey grew up in Rockville, Maryland, spending winter weeks skiing in the mountains of Colorado and summers at camp in Northern Ontario, where she developed a deep love for the outdoors through windsurfing, sailing and canoeing. Her love of the outdoors led her to the University of Colorado Boulder, where she took every opportunity over her four years to immerse herself in the stunning natural surroundings. After graduating in May of 2024, Bailey was drawn to First Descents, a cause near and dear to her heart thanks to 18 years of her family’s personal connection and fundraising efforts with FD. She couldn’t be more thrilled to now join the ranks of FD as a Development Coordinator overseeing FD’s Out Living It Project.
