All programs are FREE and include lodging in a spectacular location, plus gear, pro-guided instruction, chef-prepared meals, and time to kick back with fellow members of our incredible FD community.

Join local FD Colorado community member, Ray aka “Half-Squat” for an awesome winter hike up to St. Mary’s Glacier near Idaho Springs, CO. You can learn more about the hike here.

Make sure you layer up as it may be chilly! Bring a water bottle, snacks, hiking boots and microspikes for traction. You can pick some up on Amazon, at REI or other local gear retailers. Snowshoes are also an option although they may be overkill depending on trail conditions as the trail is often packed.
Feel free to invite along friends/family as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
