JOIN US FOR A 2025 HEALING ADVENTURE!

Columbia River Gorge

Join local FD community member Janelle (“Baby Guac”) for a Portland area hike in the Columbia River Gorge at the beginning of wildflower season. The trail is a moderate 5-mile loop off the Catherine Creek Trailhead on the Washington side of the Gorge. You can learn more about the trail HERE.

Important Details

  • Location: Catherine Creek Trailhead on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, about 8 miles east of Hood River
  • Activity: We will be doing the Tracy Hill Loop. It is a moderate 5-mile loop and should take us about 4 hours. You can check out the trail on AllTrails HERE.
  • What to bring: Make sure to bring sun protection, a water bottle and snacks, and wear comfortable hiking shoes.
  • Post-Hike Fun (Optional): Everyone is also welcome for a post-hike hang at the pFriem brewery in Hood River, about 10 minutes from the trailhead.

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups, it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members.

Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+), as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
