Come out and connect with fellow healthcare workers during an incredible few days of whitewater kayaking in Bryson City, NC! Whether you are a seasoned kayaker or new to the sport, this program has a sweet spot for everyone. Spend your days kayaking with the beloved guides at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and kick back in the evenings to enjoy some amazing food and time with new friends. You’ll be staying at the gorgeous NOC campus for a truly immersive program that allows for connection, recharge, and adventure!
There will be five program dates available:
Registration will be emailed to the Southeast community 12 weeks prior to each program.
All accommodations, meals, and gear will be provided.
Please apply to programs within your region and within driving distance from your home. FD will not accept those using air travel at this time. Applicants are responsible for understanding any travel restrictions that might impact their program eligibility. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Travel Planner is a useful tool.
FD adheres to and exceeds public health guidelines. At programs, all Parties are required to complete COVID-19 daily screenings, use face masks, and socially distance, etc. Given that COVID-19 and health guidelines are constantly changing, FD programs are subject to change. If there is a change to this program, FD will notify you.
