FD Tributaries | Local Adventure Communities

Keeping with the theme of rivers, FD has dubbed our local adventure communities  “Tributaries” or “FDTribs” for short. FDTribs offer programs, events, and peer to peer community support for young adults impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions. FDTribs are intended to connect our growing community in the places they call home and closer to their point of diagnosis.

Currently, we have 18 FDTributaries in select cities across the country which offer Single and Multi-Day Programs, as well as Monthly Meetups, as well as a host of events. Programs range from rock climbing outings to multi-day river trips, backpacking adventures, and more. FDTribs are intended to connect our growing community in the places they call home and closer to their point of diagnosis. We ask that folks please only join one FDTrib to ensure we are making space for everyone. If you’d like to change your FDTrib (e.g. you live in LA but travel to NYC all the time and would rather be part of the NYC Trib), please email [email protected]. Thanks!

Please Note: While FD Tributary communities are welcoming of all eligible participants and alumni, we are not yet offering programs for young adults living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
