Dr. Wendy Bamberg is an epidemiologist and board-certified infectious diseases physician. Dr. Bamberg began her public health career as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer (“disease detective”) with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has worked in public health for over 16 years, including 10 years leading the Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Program for the state of Colorado. She currently balances her time working for the state of Colorado as a medical epidemiologist and supporting organizations in preventing the transmission of infectious diseases. Her favorite outdoor sports are paddle boarding and hiking.
