Thanks for your interest in volunteering on a First Descents program! We couldn’t do it without you. Being a volunteer is a huge responsibility and incredibly rewarding. Be prepared to work hard, have long days, laugh, cry, and do a LOT of dishes. Before signing up, make sure to read through the volunteer roles and expectations below to ensure you understand the role and are showing up as the best possible volunteer you can be!

As our community and program offerings continue to grow, we will be in touch with registered volunteers on an as-needed basis. We are fortunate to have so much support from our community and we see very high interest in volunteer opportunities. We cannot guarantee any individual a spot on a program, but do our best to get everyone out there at least once. Thanks for your understanding and support!
