All programs are FREE and include lodging in a spectacular location, plus gear, pro-guided instruction, chef-prepared meals, and time to kick back with fellow members of our incredible FD community.

Join local FD community member, Thomas aka “Magellan” for a beautiful fall 2mile hike to DeSoto Falls just north of Atlanta near Dahlonega, Georgia. Carpool options are available and encouraged!
Saturday October 14th at 10am.
The exact address for the parking lot is 18365 US-129, Cleveland, GA 30528. It’s called DeSoto Falls Recreation Area and pops right up on Google Maps. As with most other federal national forest sites, it’s $5 to park or if people have the America the Beautiful national park pass that will also suffice.
Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members. All abilities welcome.
