Join local FD alum, Sandra aka “Sups” and the Waves 4 Women crew for an awesome Sunday morning surf near Charleston, SC. Waves 4 Women is graciously donating this two hour surf lesson so there will be no charge.

When: Sunday 9/24/23 from 8:30-10:30 AM
How does it work: In our Surf Therapy Clinics, we use surfing, guided wellness discussions, and the healing power of the ocean to develop mindfulness, build a growth mindset, promote strength and resiliency, and create community.
What is Included; We provide the surfboards, surf instruction, and group wellness as well as a safe and supportive space. You will be asked to bring a water bottle, towel, and to wear a swimsuit.
Why join us: Our surf therapy clinics provide participants with the opportunity to experience community & connection and to become more mindful, resourceful, and adaptive through ocean & surf therapy.
Cost: Free for men and women referred through First Descents!
Whether it’s your first time surfing or you’re a pro – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with the local FD community!
