Join local FD Community member Sam for a fun Chicago Dragon Boat Paddling adventure with The Greater Chicago Dragon Boat Club. No experience or equipment necessary!

Sunday, June 29 | 1:00pm – 2:30pm

Important Details

• Location: The Greater Chicago Dragon Boat Club: 1574 N Kingsbury St, Chicago, IL 60642 (behind the Blick store on the river)
• Activity: Learn the basics of dragon boat paddling.  We will do a 30-minute warm-up and intro, and then 60 minutes on water.
• What to bring:  Please wear secured shoes (no flip flops or slip on shoes) and clothing that can get wet. Sunglasses or a hat are recommended. Make sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
• Max Participants: 20 paddlers total
• Other things to note: Please make sure to sign The Greater Chicago Dragon Boat Club’s waiver HERE.

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members in the area. Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+), as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
