Join local FD Community member Robby (“Danger”) on a New York City hiking adventure to explore local military history and one of New York’s less-crowded beaches!

• Location: Fort Tilden (Gateway Recreation Area). Breezy Point, NY 11697
  • Fort Tilden is accessible via: car (Jacob Riis Park parking lot is free before memorial day), taxi/ride-share (Uber, Lyft), public transit in NYC (2,3,4,5 train to Brooklyn College, Transfer to Q35 bus), NYC Ferry (Rockaway Ferry and Shuttle to Riis Park)
• Activity: Beachside Hike! (No walking on sand required!)
• Cost: Free!
• What to bring: Sun protection, comfortable walking shoes and clothing, snacks and water.

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups, it’ll be a fun evening hanging out with local FD community members. Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+) as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
