Join Local FD member Crystal (“Honey B”) for a fun cave hike at the Illinois Caverns State Natural Area!

Important Details

• Location: Illinois Caverns State Natural Area
• Activity: Cave hike! Learn more HERE. We have to sign in with the rangers and complete a form before entering. Appropriate closed toe shoes are required. We will most likely get wet and muddy from the trail as there is some water you walk through, so you can also bring a change of clothes.
• Cost: Free!
• Other things to note: We need a minimum of 4 people
• What to bring: Water, change of clothes and close toed shoes. Hard hats and 3 flashlights are required. The rangers will have a few of both available for free rentals with an ID that will be held until return

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members in the area. Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+), as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
