Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area

Join local FD community member, Melissa aka “Buttah” near Atlanta in the Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area for an awesome 3.6 mile hike: Sope Creek Loop Hike.

Meet at the parking area at 9:00 am. (3726 Paper Mill Rd SE, Marietta, GA 30067) People will need to pay a $5 parking fee (can pay at the pay station or in advance through recreation.gov).

When: Saturday July 29th at 9:00AM

Trail Rating: It is an easy-moderate 3.6-mile roundtrip hike. You can this link to learn more about the trail.

What you need:  Hiking shoes, some water and a snack! Bring or wear your swimsuit underneath as there is some swimming/wading possibility in Sope Creek.

We can go out for lunch afterward if people are interested. Feel free to invite along friends/family as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
