Join local FD Community member Iram (“Rum & Coke”) for a fun Austin hiking adventure at Grelle Recreation Area! This 2-mile loop wanders through a beautiful forest with views of the lake. There are restrooms available at the Visitor Center where we’ll meet.

Important Details

• Location: Grelle Recreation Area: 640 Co Rd 412, Spicewood, TX 78669
• Activity: Hiking the 2 mile Grelle Recreation Loop (AllTrails). It should take us about 1 hour.
• Cost: Hiking-Free; Swimming & Picnic- $10 Entrance Fee
• What to bring: Sun protection, sturdy hiking shoes (good traction and ankle support!), water and snacks + Lunch if you plan to join for the picnic!
• Post-Hike Fun (Optional): Swimming & Picnic at Kraus Springs

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members in the area.Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+), as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
