Celebrate Out Living It Day with Alumni Ambassador “Slugger” and FD Staffer “TSA” with a fun Denver hiking adventure in Morrison, CO!

Important Details

• Location: Red Rocks Trail and Morrison Slide Trail, Red Rocks Trail Rd, Golden, CO 80401
• Activity: Hiking the moderate 3.3-mile Red Rocks and Morrison Slide Loop, enjoying the views, and getting ice cream in downtown Morrison. The hike should take us about an hour and a half to two hours. Check out the trail on All Trails HERE.
• Cost: Free!
• What to bring: Sun protection, comfortable walking/hiking shoes, water, and spending money for ice cream.
• Other things to note: After the hike, we’ll drive down to The Cow, an ice cream shop in downtown Morrison, to enjoy a sweet treat together and do a fun FD swag giveaway! Parking may be limited at the ice cream shop, so be prepared to carpool from the trailhead to the ice cream shop.

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members in the area. Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+), as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
