Join local FD Community member Kelly (“Llama”) for a Glacier National Park hiking adventure, exploring the beautiful Avalanche Lake trail. Come take advantage of the brief window where the beginning of the Going-to-the-Sun-Road is reservation free and enjoy some spectacular views!

Important Details

• Location: Glacier National Park. Meet in front of the Saint Mary Visitor Center: Parking lot, Browning, MT 59417
• Activity: Hiking the 6 mile Avalanche Lake Trail (AllTrails). It should take us about 3 hours.
• Cost: Free with National Parks Pass or $35 per Vehicle (We strongly recommend carpooling!)
• What to bring: Hat, sunscreen, sturdy hiking shoes (good traction and ankle support!), water and snacks. 

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members in the area.Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+), as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
