MS/Oncology Healthcare Workers | Whitewater Kayaking

First Descents is honored to now serve healthcare professionals who have dedicated their lives to improving health outcomes for our alumni and their families. It’s time we care for those who care for our community. Whether you are feeling burned out by work or in need of connecting with others leaving their mark on the fight against cancer and MS, this program is for you. Our adventure programs provide the respite, renewal, and connection you deserve.

Join is for a 4-day whitewater kayaking adventure on the outskirts of Glacier National Park in Montana! Famous for its vibrant blue waters, the Flathead River runs for 158 winding miles along the iconic national park allowing for a unique view of this magical spot. Your progression into whitewater kayaking will be led by the professionals at Montana Kayak Academy, who will work on the fundamentals first and then challenge folks to rip through some friendly rapids.

In the evenings, you’ll relax at your lodge, Green Valley Ranch. Situated on 480 acres of private property, surrounded by national forest, and located next to the west entrance of Glacier National Park, Green Valley Ranch is the perfect location to experience the natural wonders of Northwest Montana.
