All programs are FREE and include lodging in a spectacular location, plus gear, pro-guided instruction, chef-prepared meals, and time to kick back with fellow members of our incredible FD community.
JOIN US FOR A 2026 HEALING ADVENTURE!
Join local FD community member, Andrea for an awesome weekend of camping and exploring Indiana Dunes National Park. One of our newest national parks, it’s only one hour away from Chicago and two and a half hours away from Indianapolis.
August 26th to August 27th
Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun weekend hanging out with local FD community members.
Feel free to invite along friends/family as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
Activities: Hiking (3 Dune Challenge and Diana of the Dunes Dare), Water sports (Kayaking, SUP, Swimming,
etc.)
– Hikes will scheduled closer to date and depending on weather conditions
Costs: Entrance to the park, lodging, food on own, water sport rental
– I plan on tent camping here ($42.33 / night) I’m happy to reserve sites close to each other depending on interest.
– VRBO seems to have more available, though in Michigan City as opposed to Portage
(campground)
