Join Local FD member Emily (“Doats”) to celebrate Out Living It Day with a fun hiking adventure in Patapsco Valley State Park.

Important Details

• Location: Patapsco Valley State Park
• Activity: Hiking the Saw Mill Trail. The trail is considered easy to moderate. Please note! Parts of the trail may include rocky creek crossings where it’s possible that your shoes/socks will get wet.
• Cost: There is a $2-$5 entry fee to the park
• What to bring: Sun protection, comfortable walking/hiking shoes, water and snacks. Also, unfortunately, it’s already been a bad tick year. Please be sure to bring bug spray, long pants and socks, and maybe even spray clothes and gear with permethrin before coming.
• Post Hike Fun: We have a couple of campsites people are welcome to hang at after the hike–the park just requires everyone not camping to be out by 9:30 pm.

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members in the area. Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+), as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
