JOIN US FOR A 2025 HEALING ADVENTURE!

Raccoon Creek State Park

Join local FD community member Yvonne (“Hummingbird”) for a Pittsburgh hike in nearby Raccoon Creek State Park. The wildflowers should be plentiful & gorgeous in the Wildflower Reserve area we’ll be hiking.

Important Details

  • Location: Raccoon Creek State Park – Wildflower Reserve
  • Activity:  It is a 2.5-mile loop that should take us around 2 hours.
  • What to bring: Make sure to bring layers, a water bottle and snacks, and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Hiking poles are optional.
    • Dogs are NOT permitted in the Wildflower Reserve.

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups, it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members. Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+), as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
