Allegheny Islands State Park

Join local FD Community member Yvonne (“Hummingbird”) for a fun Pittsburgh Paddle Boarding adventure at Allegheny Islands State Park on a guided paddleboard eco tour through alluvial islands, beaches, and abundant wildlife. The guided tour will be followed by plenty of time to explore on your own and relax on the water!

Important Details

• Location: Moraine State Park. Deer Creek Boat Ramp, Pittsburgh, PA US 15238 (HERE)
• Activity: Paddle Boarding at Allegheny Islands State Park
• Cost: $50 per Person (Typically $75), thanks to our friends at SurfSUP Adventures! Once you have signed up with FD, please be sure to sign up with SurfSUP HERE. 
• Max capacity: 20 Participants; first come, first served
• What to bring: Sun protection, swimwear or activewear you are willing to get wet, water shoes (although they recommend barefoot), a change of clothes (optional), water and snacks.  

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members in the area. Feel free to invite along friends/family (18+), as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
