JOIN US FOR A 2026 HEALING ADVENTURE!
Join local FD community member, Szu-Yu aka “Switchblade” for an awesome weekend hike of Wildcat Canyon Regional Park just north of Oakland.
Saturday October 21st at 9:45am.
Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members.
9:45 – Meet at Alvarado Staging Area
10:00 – Start ascent using Belgum Trail
11:30 – Arrive at Old Nike Missile Radar Site for break & group photos
11:45 – Start descent using Havey Canyon Trail and Wildcat Creek Trail
1:00 – Depart
The route is low-to-moderate difficulty, with wide mostly-gravel ground and gradual elevation change.The trails are dog-friendly as long as they remain on-leash.
Feel free to invite along friends/family as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
