First Descents has been named a beneficiary of Tap Cancer Out – a nonprofit that raises funds and awareness for cancer fighting organizations on behalf of the Jiu-Jitsu aka “grappling” community. Outdoor athletes like surfers and climbers have been cross-training in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for decades and we’re stoked to see this sport mobilize and support those coping with cancer!
Join the fight by participating in or spectating at one of their events in your local community. Check out their nationwide tournaments below and spread the word!
