First Descents acknowledges that we provide outdoor adventure programs on the Native Lands and Traditional Territories of indigenous peoples across the country. We remain committed to being responsible stewards of this land while acknowledging the impacts of colonialism on the peoples who traditionally occupied it. At every First Descents program, we pause to acknowledge the lands we are recreating on and reflect on the privilege we have to adventure and heal in these beautiful places.
