All programs are FREE and include lodging in a spectacular location, plus gear, pro-guided instruction, chef-prepared meals, and time to kick back with fellow members of our incredible FD community.

The Rogue River starts its journey at Crater Lake and winds its way through 215 miles of Oregonian wilderness. The warm water, friendly rapids, and lush scenery make it the perfect kayaking playground for beginners and experts alike. Expert guides from Sundance Kayak School will teach you the basics and keep you safe as you learn to kayak up to Class III rapids. After an epic day of kayaking, you’ll return to your beautiful riverside lodge ,where you’ll enjoy pro chef-prepared meals, nightly campfires, and time with your new FD community.
There will be one week of the Healthcare Worker Rogue River Kayaking program in 2026.

TRAVEL: Participants are responsible for getting to/from the program. Travel scholarships are available through the registration form.
HEALTH & SAFETY: All Participants are required to fill out a registration form. FD will select participants based on available space on the program. Once selected, participants may be required to get a medical form from their Doctor. FD strongly recommends that all Participants are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Read more here.
