The Denver Trib got together on December 6th to give back to the community. We helped prepare and serve up meals at the Denver Rescue Mission for the homeless and needy. It takes a volunteer army to make meal service happen (over 90 volunteers a day!) and we were up for the challenge. Cut up delicious pies? Check. Empty applesauce jars? Check. Cut up breakfast bagels? Check. Serve dinner to over 400 homeless? Check. Not only did we do all of these tasks, we had a blast while doing it. Oh and did I mention our canned goods donation? It was overflowing! It was a humble and rewarding way to end the 2015 Trib season. Good work Denver!
