Ryan Sutter

Ryan is originally from CO and after closing up a successful professional football career, began work as a firefighter in Vail, CO. He met his now wife, Trista on ABC’s The Bachelorette, and the couple are now the proud parents of two young children, Max and Blakesley. Ryan began working with First Descents shortly after the show aired and he and Trista began attending First Descents programs and events. In 2010, Ryan completed his 10-10-10 initiative- Ten endurance events including an Ironman and the Leadville 100, for FD’s 10th anniversary, to hopefully inspire $10,000 people to donate $10 to First Descents. Since then he has been a part of numerous Team FD challenges and served as a vital part of the FD family. Ryan has set FD on a trajectory for growth and impact like we could have never imagined.
