Originally from Aspen, Brock Strasbourger is cofounder of Heli Adventures, Inc. (Heli), an adventure travel company established in 2015. Heli started as an online marketplace specializing in backcountry skiing/snowboarding, kite surfing, surfing, scuba diving, mountain biking, fly fishing and more, with the mission of “Uniting through adventure.” 

Along with Andy Culp, Strasbourger acquired Great Canadian in British Columbia and Silverton Mountain in Colorado, with a focus on maintaining their distinctive and authentic ski experiences. (The Colorado Sun)

Brock’s professional background includes cofounding a family office platform called Targa Partners; serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Ventoux Acquisition Holdings LLC; significant roles such as Head of Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Development at Convene; Vice President of Digital at OTG Management; Chief Revenue Officer at Fancy.com; and an Emerging Markets associate at Barclays Capital (MarketScreener).

Because Brock’s family has a history of cancer — he lost one of his grandfathers, both grandmothers, and his mother to the disease, while his dad, uncle and best friend are all survivors — this cause is deeply connected to his heart. Brock is committed to seeing Heli help First Descents elevate its effectiveness to the next level through their shared missions.
