This holiday season, our goal is to raise $125,000 to help fund transformative adventures for more than 2,000 young adults impacted by cancer and MS through core programs and community adventures in the year ahead.
JOIN US FOR A 2025 HEALING ADVENTURE!
Join local FD alum, Mike aka “Hydro” for an awesome beginner Connecticut Outrigger Canoe Paddling Meetup in Milford, CT. You’ll be able to learn the basics of what Outrigger Canoeing is all about!
Saturday August 10th – 1:00pm
The group will meet at Gulf Beach, near Milford. This meetup is hosted by the Manu’iwa Outrigger Canoe Club a local Outrigger Canoe Club.There is no pressure to join the club, just a fun paddle day for the community.
They provide the paddles and life jackets, so there is no cost! You’ll just need to wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and a water bottle/camelbak.

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members.
