Dragon Boat Paddling

Join local FD community members, Leilani and Rachel aka “Canoe” for an awesome beginner Denver Dragon Boat Paddling Meetup at Sloan’s Lake in Denver. You’ll be able to learn the basics of what Dragon Boat is all about!

Saturday June 29th from 10-11:30am

This meetup is hosted by the Rocky Mountain Dragon Slayers, a local Dragon Boat team. Dragon Boating is a team sport that consists of 22 people working together to race a long skinny canoe (similar to rowing).

There is no pressure to join the team, just a fun paddle day for the community. They provide the paddles and life jackets, so there is no cost! You’ll just need to wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and bring sunglasses and a water bottles. The group will meet at the marina by the North Parking Lot.

Whether it’s your first time joining or you’ve been to a bunch of FD meetups – it’ll be a fun day hanging out with local FD community members.

Feel free to invite along friends/family as anyone is welcome to attend Community Adventures!
