First Descents is celebrating 20 years of Out Living It. That’s two decades of unbelievable community and adventure. In that time we’ve served over 10,000+ participants like you. Our community is always asking us how they can do more for First Descents. As our greatest ambassadors and biggest cheerleaders, we’re asking you to help spread the word by sharing your FD experience. Record an Instagram story, post on Facebook, or go old school and email 5 people in your life. There’s so many ways to share what FD means to you, how you’re Out Living It, and why people should support First Descents in your honor.
Don’t forget to link your posts to our 20th Anniversary campaign!
Optional Social Post: My favorite nonprofit First Descents is celebrating 20 years of life-changing adventure programs. Over the past 20 years, they’ve served over 10,000 participants across more than 1,000 programs. I am so stoked to be a member of the FD community. In celebration of 20 years, please consider making a $20 donation to support their mission to reach more young adults impacted by cancer and MS. I know I’ll be donating!
Optional Social Post: First Descents taught me about the power of “Out Living It”. One First Descents participant said it best– “First Descents has not just taught me how to live, but how much there is to live for. Out Living It has become my cure.” Next year, they’ll be celebrating their 20th anniversary! I’ll be donating $20 to FD to extend the healing power of adventure to more young adults impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions. Please consider matching my donation so that FD can continue to support other young adults like me!
Optional Social Post: First Descents is a global leader in adventure-based healing. The FD community opened my eyes to what it really means to get “Out Living It.” With First Descents, my diagnosis does not define me, and I have a community that understands me. First Descents is celebrating their 20th anniversary! This holiday season, please join me in donating $20 to FD in honor of their mission, and the life-changing experiences provide.
Keep in mind that these are just suggestions! Social media can be overwhelming, so we wanted to make it as easy as possible to spread the word about our 20th anniversary Woohoo!
We encourage you to share your personal FD experience. Whether it’s an instagram story, a facebook post or a selfie video, here’s a few ideas:
