The Outer Banks of North Carolina are known as one of the best surfing spots on the East Coast. During this program, participants will spend four days honing their surfing skills with our longtime outfitter, FarmDog Surf School. After epic days spent catching the waves, you’ll kick back at our gorgeous oceanfront house to relax and enjoy delicious meals prepared by First Descents’ professional Chefs — all with your new FD community!
There will be one week of the Caregiver Outer Banks Surfing program in 2026.

TRAVEL: Participants are responsible for getting to/from the program. Travel scholarships are available through the registration form.
HEALTH & SAFETY: All Participants are required to fill out a registration form. FD will select participants based on available space on the program. Once selected, participants may be required to get a medical form from their Doctor. FD strongly recommends that all Participants are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Read more here.
