The very first Trib program in Salt Lake City (ever!) was one for the books! First Descents hosted 7 participants, and two wonderful volunteers from Wacky Warriors- the very own Wacky and Criquette! We traveled up to Park City, UT for a weekend of rock climbing in the beautiful Wasatch Range. Friday night was spent eating tacos around a campfire in one of the quirkiest houses in First Descents history. It was one of the types of houses where there was so much to look at and absorb. For example, the bathrooms looks like they were carved out granite stone, and there were antique mining and skiing relics displayed on every inch of the walls. Needless to say, it was the topic of conversation for most of the weekend. Saturday was perfect sending weather- sunny but not too hot. Everyone got the wall conquering their fears and totally crushed it! It was inspiring to see the courage and perseverance displayed that day. Saturday night was completed with a homemade pizza and salad bar with baked peaches for dessert. Another amazing weekend spreading the FD love and reach to Utah!
